May Species Count 2010 (Lac La Biche and Area, from May 29, 2010 04:00 AM to May 30, 2010 11:55 PM)

Preparation meeting for the May Species Count will take place on Friday May 28th from 6:00pm to 9:00 pm at the BCMInns ( 2nd floor community meeting room). A slide show to review bird species will also be held on Friday evening. On Sunday a Wind-Up Lunch/Dinner will be held at Tom's Pizza and Steakhouse Restaurant from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

May Bird Pre-Count Welcome & Information Night (BCM Inns (west of LLB on Highway 55), from May 28, 2010 06:00 PM to May 28, 2010 09:00 PM)

Allocation of areas to to be covered by birders during the Saturday and Sunday May Bird count. Slide show to review bird species. Travel arrangements for new or visiting birders with members of the Birding Society. BCM Inns 780-623-1888 or 1-800-700-2264 (Birders will receive discount for Bird Count weekend). Tom's Pizza and Steakhouse Restaurant is the Birders' Eatery (Identify yourself as a Birder for a discount).
